The latest techniques and technologies enable existing pipework to be renovated without having to use traditional excavation methods. Repairs are achieved by inserting a specialist liner into an existing pipe, the liner is 'cured in place' to form a permanent repair.
Section Lining
Is used when the drain is damaged along its length. A whole section of damaged pipe could be re-lined, by insertion of a lining ‘sock’ impregnated with a special resin. The result is a new fibre reinforced pipe within the old damaged pipe.
Local Line
Would be used to permanently produce a high quality repair in a localised area. Fibre glass mat patches are applied with an epoxy resin, placed in position and left to cure.
